Editions of Air Quality and Climate Change are released in March, June, September and December.
Articles published in the journal have a localised focus, with majority related to air quality in Australia, New Zealand, and Southeast Asia. However, manuscripts from other areas around the world are also encouraged.
There are three types of manuscripts that are acceptable for publication, each of which undergoes a peer-review process prior to acceptance and publication in the journal. The manuscript types are:
Major articles highlighting significant new research
Short articles or technical reports that are usually of more limited scope. These articles should not exceed 2000 words
Extended summaries, which should be short (less than 1000 words) and focus on a specific small piece of work or present some initial results from consultation projects.
In addition to scientific articles, the journal also contains an Environment and Industry News section, which highlights recent developments in air quality management, climate change adaptation, and significant new research in the fields of air quality and climate change.
Technical Articles are free for members via the CASANZ member portal or for purchase at Informit, a leading provider of information management services to the education, government and corporate sectors.
